We all have many gifts to be thankful for. These gifts include parents to look after us, oxygen to breathe and clean water to drink, the earth that grows food for us to eat, our physical senses to enjoy the world, even life itself. We can choose to always think of what we don’t have and feel unhappy, or we can choose to be thankful for what we have and for the gifts every new day brings our way. Even difficulties can be gifts, if they lead to our growth and happiness.
