The supplementary character education materials found on the Day By Day Learning website have been created by a group of parents, teachers, artists and musicians from around the world, who feel strongly about the importance of character education.

These materials have been slowly tested in kindergartens and primary schools with 4- to 7-year-old children from different cultural, economic, and racial backgrounds. The learning and experience gained has helped us to adjust, enhance, and enrich the materials over time. We hope these resources will help children develop good habits and gain an understanding, through practice, of what virtues are and how we can use them to help make our communities better places to live.

The menu to the right contains supplementary resource materials that apply to working with 19 human qualities, or virtues, which we have chosen to explore. These materials can compliment any character education program being used in the home or classroom and are categorized by virtue, for your convenience.

Children, Children, What Do You See?

Children, Children, What Do You See? is an introduction to the nine children featured in our materials. This may be used as a stand-alone book or as an accompaniment to the Virtues in Action books.
